Today I saw Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis in "Friends with Benefits." It was pretty cute, but I could have waited until it came out on Redbox to see it. However, throughout the entire movie I could not get the thought of N Sync out of my mind! The way Justin was acting throughout the entire movie made me think of his sweet/sexy N Sync persona. In honor of that experience, I decided to do a Flashback session where I list some things that remind me of the "good ole days."
1. Justin Timberlake in N Sync.
I watched the "Bye, Bye Bye" video over and over and over again - specifically the part where Justin jumps down the shoot, crouches, and then does this little smile "ha, ha, ha" moment before being chased by the dogs. My friends and I were huuuuuggggeeeee N Sync fans (don't even bring up Backstreet Boys - not comparable), and the "No Strings Attached" album is still one of my top five albums of all time. I could still bust out all of the words to every song. My love affair started to end when Justin shaved off his curls - we all knew it was the beginning of the end then. 2. James Bond's Goldeneye on Nintendo 64
I played this non-stop with my friend Libby. However there was only one level that I truly liked, and I only liked playing with the Goldeneye weapon. So...I was a little picky...3. Captain Planet
I used to get up early on Saturday mornings before anyone else, and watch Captain Planet. It never occurred to me that people wouldn't get up at 6 a.m. to watch this. 4. Butterfly Clips
Anyone else put these in a row on top of their head. I still will claim to this day that I invented this trend :)5. 90210
Yes, 90210 is in the same post as Captain Planet. Having a sister that is seven years older than me would result in me staying up late and watching shows that were sometimes inappropriate for me. Although I'd get up early to watch Captain Planet, to this day, I would still rather watch shows like 90210 over morning cartoons. Mmm, got to love Dylan!
